Punta Fuego, Batangas (philippines)

Runaway to where the sea meets the sky, where we can escape the bustling city life and escape to the seaside of Nasugbu, Batangas. Nasugbu prides itself in having some of the finest beaches in the Philippines.

How to get there:

By car:
from Makati, take the South Superhighway and exit through Sta. Rosa. From there go straight towards Silang, through Tagaytay and finally, Nasugbu. There are road signs along the way so you need not worry about getting lost. The roads are quite good and it's a scenic ride all the way.
By bus:
go to the Batangas Laguna Tayabas Bus Co. (BLTB) in Pasay. An ordinary bus ride costs 55 pesos (one-way) while an airconditioned one costs 72 pesos (one-way). The bus will take you to the BLTB terminal near Nasugbu's municipal hall. From there you can get a tricycle or jeepney to take you to your destination.

From Nasugbu, we hired a boat (bangka) to take us to the island. It costs 2,000 pesos around 48 $ for a to and fro ride maximum of 10 people.
The best thing about going there is when we witnessed the most beautiful sunset you wanna see. We had our baon with us, typical filipino food, rice and a lot of grilled pork belly and fish and shrimp. But most importantly is the time well spent with our family.

Perfect getaway, away from a very commercialized resort, good place to relax and good value of money.
